Forget about BTC mining, but if you have a card(s) it's not a bad investment long term. Blockchain technology is still at the ground floor and mining provides a way to invest. Join a multi pool that picks the most efficient alts to mine and let the cards run.

GPU's are still economical, just depends on what alternative currency you mine. If you have GPU's why not use them in downtime? Look at it as another way to invest in crypto technology. Choose a chain or two and invest some $$ earned from mining. Don't be narrow sighted.

VTT seems to help stabilize the high memory speeds on my board. I left vtt at 1.328v and raised vcore to 1.328. This lets me do 184blck stable. I am quite happy with 4400mhz with 6 cores loaded and stable!
Tempted to push this further to 1.35v core as you mentioned...
Working on the x5670 a little more. Max I can hit stable with 1.328 vtt and 1.28v core is 4200mhz loaded. The bloodrage can force the turbo multi of 24x when all cores are loaded. I'll try and up the vcore to over 1.3 and see what happens.

Any guidance on where to keep the uncore and qpi? Do they need to be similar to the core for max performance or is under 4ghz fine?
