Memory upgrade on Dell E1705

After doing some research it appears the E1705 can go up to 3.25GB of RAM. I will be running Windows Vista 64-bit, also. With that in mind, is going with 4GB of RAM worth it? I do have another Dell laptop with 1GB of RAM in it. Would putting a 2GB stick in with the already installed 1GB stick...

Laptop Choice Help

Finally pulled the trigger... Had trouble parting with the HP laptop as it was a nice rig, but you can't turn down the GeForce 7900 GO/Core 2 Duo for around $180 more, I'd be nuts.
