If your going to be overclocking I suggest getting an amd64 3700+ or 4000+ sd, or and opty 170. Those chips will give you the best bang for your buck overclocked. Personally, I think that unless you do heavy multitasking and have alot of money to spend on a cpu then its right to go for a dual...
I agree with Twsmit, there would be a big gap between the 7600gt and the 7900gt. I thought that the purpose for the release of the g71 was to round out the whole line, which it did. but since nvidia is moving to the .90nm process, it does look like the g70s are on the way out.

I'm not sure if this article has been posted before. Take it with a grain of salt if you will. If this is true, that would mean the 7800gt had a shelf life of less than a year (correct me if I'm wrong).
Skepticism or not, it makes me reconsider...
Why is the SLI option losing the in poll? I'm assuming that those of you who had a 7800gt went sli right away? I just bought my xfx7800gt a month ago, so I can't step-up with evga =(

2. How much of a price drop should we...

How do you enable AAM?
Hey guys, I'm so sick of of my Maxtor 200GB DiamondMax 10 SATA drive. I can hear it above all the other fans in my case. Does anyone have any of these drives? How loud are they (seek noise)?
Can anyone recommend a good 200gb, quiet drive? Its for an SATA setup.
I'm computer science IRQ stands for interrupt request, calling an interrupt in hardware will cause the cpu to hault its current process (also save its state) and execute the interrupt handler.
Just wondering what controls my gpau fan speed.
I've been looking at my RivaTuner and the settings are set at
Standard 2D: 28
Low power 3D: 43
Performance 3D: 43
My gpu temps range from:
gpu idle: 38C
gpu load: 62C
When I'm idleing (38C) as soon as I turn on RTHDRIBL the fan...
