Thanx guys, I think you guys are right. How much more FPS am I going to see by getting a C2D up to 4.0Ghz? What like 3-4 FPS in Crysis? At 1920*1200 Is that a accurate estimate of what kind of FPS I might gain by making the jump to a C2D that can hit 4.0Ghz over my E6400 @ 3.2Ghz.
I am wondering if someone can help clear up this issue for me.
I have been out of the loop as to all the different great Overclockable Intel CPU's that have been launched since the first big wave of C2D starting with the E6400-E6600 Era.
Now I am faced with a very Tuff decision, Which CPU...
Thanx for the replies.
I have a Zalman CNPS 9500, Wouldn't that work almost as well as the Tuniq Tower?
And I have a ACER 24 inch LCD, So I usually game at 1920*1200 unless the FPS drop below 30 FPS which so far even with my 9800GTX is only Crysis!
What do those E7200 Overclock too? And...
I just stepped up my 9800GTX to a GTX260 a few days ago. So EVGA hasn't shipped out my GTX260 yet. Now I see that the 9800GX2 is the same price as a GTX260, I am thinking of trying to change my Step up order before they ship out my GTX 260. Can someone please break this question down for me...
Hi all.
I am currently looking for a good idea for the most gaming performance I can get.
I just won two 1GB sticks of Corsair DDR3 1333Mhz Ram but my ASUS P5B MOBO does not support it.
So I think I will sell the DRR3 Ram along with my C2D E6400 and XEON 3070 to try and buy the Best CPU I...
Well guys, i just want to say thank you very much for your patience with my Questions. The issue wasn't that I was doing something wrong. I was hitting Control+I to get into the Matrix storage manager when the RAID jumper was set to LSI RAID config. So once I saw that is was on that I looked...
No, These drives are in a RAID array right now. I am trying desperately to delete the RAID format.
If there is a quick way to go into the BIOS without the RAID drivers then can you please tell me how for a ASUS P5M2-m Server MOBO.
I have never done this before and have been asking around for...
My problem in short is this. I have Four Hard drives that I purchased that are in a RAID Setup that I want to break or delete. But i don't have the proper Setup disks to do this. I would like to just go into the BIOS and break the RAID setup, But how is that done without the RAID Drivers...
Each of the Three Drives came a RAR'd file. So I un Rared them then copied them to the floppy. What way are you suppose to copy files of this nature?
@ Swampster
When I try to load the drivers from floppy nothing happens?
Thanx for trying to help me:)
I have been on a mission for about a week to get four 750GB Hard drives deleted or changed into regular hard drives. I have been running into issue after issue, and now a new one. I went to the ASUS support site to get the RAID drivers for my Server MOBO, I downloaded three of them to be sure...
I went into the BIOS where you said to go, And it is there and enabled already. But there is a few different sizes to pick. It was already on a 3.5 Inch drive, Can't remember the size mb size it said beside it. Will having the wrong MB size picked affect if my Floppy will work or not?
So why does it show a Floppy drive in 'My computer' When I open it up? It clearly shows that there is a Floppy drive present. And the Device manager says it is working properly too?
This small issue of Deleting a RAID setup is driving me bonkers.
I just need to get the Server running so I...
O.K. so I set "First Floppy Drive" in the Boot Order in the BIOS to be enabled. When I look on device manager it still shows the Floppy drive is there and that is functioning. But When I put a disk in nothing happens. No lights go on on the Floppy drive itself. I am unable to 'open' it from...
Yes I know how to access the BIOS. There is tons of stuff I don't understand. You have any idea where the Settings are in the BIOS?
There is lots of different Tabs that I know nothing of.
You gave me the link for my MotherBoard right? Can you tell me what to look for please?
I think I...
Not sure if I am being clear. But i am trying to get a floppy drive working on my Sig Rig. So I have no clue how to enable the settings that you are talking about.
That would be great if you could show me how to do that. I am almost at my wits end with this flippin problem.
My motherboard is...
