Has anyone tried this product? Does its practical performance differ much from Arctic Silver 5? Any recommendations or experiences shared will be greatly appreciated.

In theory what you are saying is true. But the reason given for undermining the 1MB cache in many reviews is, as they say, that few applications would take advantage of such a large cache. That is why I am asking about practical advantages. Furthermore, Athlon FXs have unlocked multipliers...

3200+ Venice VS. 3700+ San Diego

I'd like to think so, but there are many users that say the 1MB cache doesn't make much difference. Although if it increases processor longevity that would be tempting.
