Who hates WinME as much as me?

Promise Ultra ATA Controller Question.

I would recommend you put your drive with your OS on the ultra controller because that will be your fastest channel (if your drive is ATA100).

Best scanner, your opinion please

I have had two Microtek scanners and was not satisfied with either (E3 $ X6). I bought a Visioneer 7600 about a year ago and have been very happy with it. It was fairly inexpensive, faster than the Microteks and gives good quality scans. I use mine almost exclusively for digitizing my boxes...

modem installation problems..

Good CD Ripper/MP3 program???

I am currently using Xing Audio Catalyst 2.1 and am fairly new to the ripping/MP3 arena. I am fed up with Xing due to poor audio quality on rips (hissing/popping..etc) I have played with all the settings and nothing helps. Their Xing MP3 player also sucks. Lots of MP3 I download from Napster...
