Looking for gaming/DVD movie wide screen LCD screen

Not for somebody who claims to be able see how degradded all the color is on each pixel. You obviously have magic eyes, stick with your CRT and laugh at the rest.

6600GT Problems

You have gone from ATI to NVidia, I would download the latest Nvidia and run something like Drive Cleaner first. http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3214.html

MSI k8n Neo2 Platinum flashign Bios 1.4

Create a MSDOS startup disk. If you have enough room put both Awfl833d.exe and the Bios on the disk, otherwise put them on another floppy. Boot off the floppy, type Awfl833d.exe and follow the prompts to type in the new BIOS name.

Ok, to answer your original quetion, Ghost & True Image dont care if it is not the orginal hard drive, they even help on resizing your partitions. eg: If you want to upgrade to a larger HDrive, the orginal HDrive has 2 partitions, they will let you adjust the size of the new partitions...

Agreed, most of the people claiming no performance increase wouldn't even know how to set up any RAID array.

Ok, is raid 0 really that unsafe? Is it worth it?

Two 160GB HD's are cheaper than One 320gb HD, so it is actually cheaper with approx 10% performance increase. Like all data if it is on a single drive or RAID0 it still needs to be backed up if you dont want to risk losing it.

Gaming LCD: Dell 2001FP or Samsung 213T or other???

Regarding scaling on this monitor: Scaling is obvious when viewing fine test at non native resolutions. You would need to have your nose 6" off the screen and a magnifing glass to see it while gaming. Maybe some people play like that!

Should I reformat if I switch out my motherboard?

jpeyton Read his post, it is the same motherboard! There is absolutely no need to format. Even if it was the same chipset but different motherboard he would have a fair chance of it booting OK.

Humm, or 3.001 Then 3.002 and when they get to the hundredth update it would be 3.100. Naaah!.
