4GB only showing as 2GB ??

I just tried all that nothing worked not even settings the memory to a 100mhz divider. The board says supports 4GB but i guess thats only 2x2GB not 4x1GB. Figures. Im just gonna sell my entire AMD system, and get a E8500 this issue just piss's me off.

Yes i put each 1 in and it reported 1gb just fine, and i mixed them and they reported 2gb fine, but when i put all 4 they dont even show 3gb, just 2048mb. The remmaping thing you mentioned, my board has an Option called memory mmi or something it says remapp for over 4gb thats all there is...

Ok before you say its the 32bit os read what i have to say. I just got a 2nd pair of 2gb memory G.skill. Both pairs are the same so i have 4x1GB now. My motherboard is a DFI NF4 SLI-DR. I checked in the manuall and on there website it support 4GB of memory so i dont it. My bios...

Can you explain this microstutter ? I mean its pretty self explanitory by the name but you know what i mean ? Btw im not worried about heat im in the basment where its always around 60-66F, nore am i concerned with electric costs really. Pretty sure 1 GTX 280 will draw more power then 2...

This only happens on the 7200rpm 2mb cache caviar not the raptor when i extract a very large file like extracting an ISO from a 6gb file my mouse will become a little jerky on this Caviar. I never noticed that on my 36gb raptor so i assume it cuss this caviar is much slower and has only 2mb...

wanting to buy a 24" montior, will my card do ok?

What kinda AA are you using on those games at that resolution on your 22" ? To get an idea of what it will be like turn the AA up 1 or 2 notch's thats the best way i know how to tell. If your getting 35 FPS in AOC tho i would upgrade, im pretty sure your FPS will be at least 10 or so...

Jugde is pushing hard in NV ATI /AMD price fixing.

I agree, i never spend $600 on video cards lol. The most for me is $400 tops. my 9700pro and 6800GT back then was $400 new, same with my 8800GTS 640 this was along time ago of course. Its amazing tho how the new cards like the 4870 which i believe is just 1 model under like a GTS was are...

We'll a little update on my viewsonic RMA if anyone cares. I finally got sick of waiting on my RMA, calling everyday aparently they recived my monitor on the 8th but havent even scanned the box yet and i found out there 5-7 day replacement on enchanges only counts once they scan my RMA'd...

Help me replace my 9800pro AGP

Simple. Get a 6800 non pro, or 6800GT.. Altho with a 250watt psu i doubt you'd be able to handle that video card.
