Just screwed my comp up with adaware?

Just screwed my comp up with adaware?

A few hours ago I ran adaware because for a split second a program box flashed on my screen and then firefox opened a new tab to adultfriendfinder. Nothing came up but cookies and mru files. I deleted all of them. Now I can't access half of the webpages I've tried. I can't do a google...

New sub rattles.

Is my HD starting to fail?

On my second hard drive, sometimes when I first open it, the icons will only be there for a half second and then disappear. If I go back and open it again though, everything is fine. I just ran chkdsk and it reported no bad sectors. It has about 180 gigs of stuff on it, so should I be worried?

Streaming Music/Movies with xbox 360?

I was streaming music and movies fine for the last week or so. (Just got the xbox) Then today I can't see any of my movies and only 3 songs. They are the 3 songs that windows automatically installs "Highway Blues" the Beethoven one and "Like Humans Do". The only thing that I can think of...

Need a download manager for Firefox 3.

Wanted to use Orbit, but it doesn't seem to work with FF3. Mainly for rapidshare files. Scheduled DLs aren't really a necessity, but I'd like to at least be able to resume files. Edit: Figured out a way to get rapidshare files to downthemall.

Also, if I don't get in this semester (I was a few days late applying) will I need to have it resent next semester when I apply?

Sending a Transcript.

I applied to a college yesterday as a transfer student. It never asked me about my transcript. Is that something I should automatically have sent or do I wait for them to ask me for it? If its something I'm supposed to have done, how do I go about getting one sent?

I was basically partying the whole time, not going to class etc. I've pretty much left all that behind now. At this point in my life I can devote all my free time to studying if I need to. (I've never studied a day in my life) The actual work was always easy.

I don't really know anything about the different schools. Its a local university but the EE degree comes from the University of MD. The CS would just be from the local university. Money really isn't that big of an issue for me. Anything over $40k and I'd be set.

I screwed up my first few years at community college so I am past being able to stand out. CS I was expecting more like 40-45k to start. Thats what my teachers were telling me at the time.
