New build. Doesn't always boot

I recently finished my new build, and sometimes when I go to turn it on, I press the button, the HDD LED flashes, and nothing. If I let it sit for a minute or two, it will boot. Also, if I shutdown, and try and turn back on, same problem unless I let it sit for a minute or two. Any ideas why...

Well, we went back and got a Logitech mouse instead that works fine.

Yesterday, we returned out Targus optical mouse (wired), as the mouse would sometimes stick and jump. Our other mice did not, so we returned it. We exchanged it for a Kensington (supposedly good) wireless optical mouse. Supposedly, all OS later than Windows 98 are supposed to detect it and run...

What game console to buy?

I've really stoped argueing this after about 2 or 3 years of it. I only own a PS2, yet I have a good amount of XBOX experience, and a little Game Cube experience. The PS2 is a very good system. It was released about a year before either the XBOX and Game Cube, and has a TON more games. I'm...

Athlon XP keeps downclocking itself!

Is all your cooling working? Fans runing at optimum speeds, etc? All wires in place and everything? I'd look in the tower and see if there is anything that looks faulty or out of place.

Intresting article with some good points. One part I didn't agree with esspecially, however: The author stated that when AMD was sitting with it's 1Ghz Athlon, the original P4 came along and completely outperformed the Athlon. That's not how I remembered it. The original P4 wasn't that great...

The Semprons are on a different ratting system than the Athlons, as they are budget CPUs. Sempron 2800+ < AthlonXP 2800+ It's har to believe people who claim to be computer literate still don't know an Athlon 3000+ doesn't run at 3Ghz. Those people should by a Dell. I think you can get A...
