HDMI Ports Output Different Quality

Just got a samsung pn50b560 and a ps3. I've found a weird issue - on HDMI port 1, the quality looks the best, regardless of the cable. The other ports look slightly off. I've tried all the possible combinations of cable and port so I'm sure its the HDMI ports. Is this common to all hdtvs, or is...

I recently started a new job and wanted to use Remote Desktop to connect to my home computer. Unfortunately, IT blocks the default outgoing port. Is there a way to change the outgoing port that is used?

corsair vx450, it has enough juice... so i got a new video card, still won't boot. now its down to the motherboard, cpu, ram, or psu. any way i can test without having to buy new components?
