I didn't start running until my late 30s...I'm 41 now. Ran my first half marathon in Oklahoma City back in spring 2005. Finished in 1:50. Ran my first full marathon in fall 2006 in Tulsa...4:19. I was on a 4 hour pace through almost 20 miles...then the cramps hit. That last 6.2 was b r u t a l...
And if biking is your thing, please act like a civilized human being. Please obey the traffic laws, and stop at stop signs. And if you're on the running/biking trails...please give us runners a courteous heads up ("on your left") when you Lance Armstrong by.
Sure running in the street (on the...
As a few others have said...go to a running store and have them analyze your stride. Most of these stores can videotape you on a treadmill...and set you up with the correct shoe.
I have a pair of NB 767 as an extra set of running shoes. Decent I suppose.
I'm a Mizuno man. Either the Wave...
Ugh. As an adoptive parent to a beautiful Korean daughter and an equally beautiful Vietnamese son...I've grown tired of this question.

Oh I know plenty of folks that love the full band stuff...but hate the solo. Not me...love 'em both. And Nebraska certainly qualifies for a desert island disc.
That's it...I'm taking my 8 posts and blowing this joint. :)
Yeah it is weird. I'm probably off on the 50-100 quakes a year...but most occur sw of OKC. There's some mountains (yes mountains) near there...Wichita Mountains I believe. Really quite beautiful and seriously out of place.
I'm in OK...but too far away from the epicenter of this one to feel anything. I was reading an OU forum a few mintues ago...several posters that live in the Norman area felt the small quake.
OK has around 50-100 earthquakes a year.
Like FoBoT...I work rotating shift work (for the past 17 years). Probably the worse...no check that...the worse shift work you can do. 5-7 day shifts...2.days off...5-7 evening shifts...2-3 days off...then 7 graveyards. Only nice thing is the graveyards end on Thursday morning and I don't have...
