Can you just buy ethylene glycol (antifreeze component) on the web ? The ethylene glycol itself is actually clear. All the additives that colorize it are there so people notice a spill of the toxic substance.

Once upon a time I took two bay covers, marked the spot for a 80mm fan in the center, then dremel-ed out a hole (only a small rib of the bay cover connected the two sides of each cover). I then put in holes for a fan grill and used the fan screws through the grill, the bay cover, and into the...
Go to a restaurant supply store and look for Linoln Wear-Ever pots and pans. They're fairly cheap but cook well (restaurant quality) and are durable enough to last a long time. They make both unfinished and a few types of nonstick versions.

There's some outfit that sells "Lian Li" PC speakers for $3 but I can't recall which one it is right now.
It's getting pretty bad when you have to remember to pull old case speakers when upgrading your system.
I have a notebook (IBM Thinkpad 380D) from 1998 with a Pentium MMX 150 MHz. The battery is useless and, to be honest, I fire it up every other month or so for random old software tasks.
I just finished my LC17 build (Silverstone, newegg lists for about $120). It's got plenty of room for my ATX build and still is narrow enough to fit in my home theater cabinet. I sold my old BeyondTV rig to my roommate and he decided to buy a black version of the LC17 as well. His theory was...
I just picked up my second Silverstone LC17 for doing an ATX board-based HTPC. They're a steal for $120 and have slots for two 92 mm fans in the front (blow over 6 3.5" bays) and two 80mm fans in the rear. The PSU is nicely ducted such that a "bottom fanned" PSU would create it's own air...
I don't think PCI-Express was supported on intel chipsets that were around during the socket 478 days. Newegg has a few with VIA chipsets that look like they'd fit what you're asking for and are ~$50. http://www.newegg.com/Product/...80+1070509907&name=478
Glass platters are the main suspect but the lawsuit mentioned a design and manufacturing defect.
I am happy to report I got my check this past week. I was surprised to see it since that lawsuit was long forgotten. Although, I had two drives and submitted two forms so maybe I'll get some...
I've lived in Seattle for 4 years now, with 3 of those being a Sprint customer. Their service/coverage was normally good, although I always had trouble with big stone buildings at UW campus. The hills, trees, and buildings make Seattle a challenge.
I recently switched to Verizon and I tend...
I have used standard screws for years and recently tried using some of those "rubber mounts" on my P180 case. The rubber mounts are a pain to install and I'm really not sure they do anything for already quiet, slower running fans. Damned things took me about an hour to install because I...
