Anyone try this Jetway ATI board yet?

I think you get that audio portion driver off of the Microsoft Update site. That driver is loaded prior to the Realtek ALC880 driver in order to support HD Audio.

Can flashing a BIOS kill a motherboard?

It would be something more to try, and it is something that should be done regardless. Let us know the results. Again, the power should be unplugged.

Actually kill the motherboard? No. After inserting the new BIOS chip, did you clear the CMOS with the power unplugged?

Yeah, it is unclear in the manual. You want to use the same color slots. The pair will be installed right next to each other.

EPoX EP-9NPA+ power connector placement?

I can tell you that I use the XP-90C and have no issues with fit/clearance. I cannot speak for the XP-120, but I the XP-90C is the more effective heatsink anyway.

T7K250 vs 7200.8 vs WD2500KS (SATAII)

The 7200.8s are great drives (I have used one), but the Hitachi T7K250 drives are better IMHO. They run about as silent and cool, and are about 5% faster on 75% of the benchmarks. They are as much as 70% faster in HDTach on burst reads when using SATAII. I have been using the T7K250 series...
