Yeah, I bought Logitech's Optical Mouse for $22 and I love it. It's only got two buttons and a wheel though, but the touch and precision is perfect (true of any optical ;)). The model name is Logitech's Wheel Mouse.
Well Win2K definitely does not run games well. And Windows ME? I can safely say that ME sucks as*. I know from personal experience that Windows ME is definitely not worth installing. You can look at a whole bunch of threads of anandtechies telling you how bad Windows ME really performs. I think...
Is there a limit to how much you want to spend on speakers? Personally, I think if you spend about $100-150, you can find some decent speakers out there. I bought the Cambridge Soundworks Microworks speakers for $119 when they were on sale at hifi from $250.
Watch out guys, I don't think this is a good deal partly because you'll run through ink cartridges like that. I've never seen a printer use up that much ink. My sister has that printer, and it seems like I'm buying her new cartridges every week. Just a cautionary note before you buy it. :)
I've been a hardcore oc'er for awhile now, constantly upgrading and pushing my cpu's to their absolute limits. But, as of late, I've had no desire whatsoever to upgrade my current rig. Just running a nice 900MHz Athlon and just being happy, even in the midst of all these Gig-machines running...
There are metal brackets that you can use to stick the hard drive in a 5.25 bay slot. They attack to each side of the hard drive. They're usually included in the retail packages when you buy a new HD. Might be some other ways out there, this is the only one i know of.
I'm perfectly fine with my setup right now, and even browsing all these vendors selling PC2100 RAM, I'm just not that interested. Until something hits really big, I won't be upgrading my baby :D
I'm never going back to anything smaller or curved! A nice flat 19 inch monitor will be the best upgrade for sure. I have the Samsung 955DF myself, and I've been very happy with it. Good luck! :D
