I saw that one, but I would be curious to know some precise measurements to ensure the heatsink would have proper clearance. Its look like a nice case especially for the price, but I would like to see some detailed measurements.

Have you ever thought that maybe you have a bad stick of ram?
A vertical stripe, one that goes from top to bottom, would lead me to believe that you have a dirty scanner bed or something underneath your scanner bed glass. If the latter is the case, then it should show up whenever you copy something solid. A solid copy should illustrate the stripe.

I have a LJ 2600n that I am still waiting on 64 bit Vista drivers for. The 1600n and 2600n are pretty much the same printers, except for a few differences. (Ethernet, Included Toners)

I would suggest HPs new aio's that will be released in the next week or so.
They are simply the best inkjet aios that money can buy.
The L7000 series are sweet and the consumables costs are unmatched by any inkjet printer using OEM consumables.

I would vote to upgrade your printer. Most of the newer color laser printers are single pass (AKA in line) which print faster. You current printer is a 4 pass color laser, and the four pass color lasers are slower, noisier, and wear their drums much quicker.
