    it is correct that if you use 4x512 sticks it does set the memory to 333,but you can set it to 400 in the bios and runs quite happily..albeit at 2T

    it'll fit but its gonna be hot,mines always hotter than my cpu even with a fan on it.I'm not sure how hot there allowed to reach or how hot they run with standard fan on..if i knew how hot they run with standard fan i could make a well educated guess i suppose .

    just put the bios onto a floppy . reboot... press alt + f2 it'll do the rest

    yea un fortunately since messing around with bios versions i can no longer run at 1T but the 400 stays when set to manual...set it to auto and it goes back to 333. my cpu is a 3500 venice

    i've got a 3500 on the a8n-e and i'm running 4x512 sticks of twinmos ram at cas of 2.5 . I've managed to both get them to run at 400 in dual and at 1T just by going into the bios and setting it up manually...no lock ups nothing. is that normal or am i just lucky in some way ?
