Cordless Mice

I bought the MX1000 for my laptop, thinking it would travel better than a corded mouse-big mistake. Besides mouse, I now have to carry receiver (corded, natch), and if I plan on being gone for awhile, the charger. It's a good mouse, but I do find it to be a tad heavy for my tastes. Thinking...

Looking for a gaming laptop

My 3DMark03 score

Not sure if you are bragging, or complaining? I would say that is a very good score. '03 is very vidcard dependent. I have a laptop, and only get 8000+, on a good day.

XP2600 to Mobile XP2500?

Asus A7N8X

Well, this sounds good. So I've just ordered the above, plus a small tube of AS5, from newegg. I may be back in a week or so with some pleas for help, as this will be only my 2nd major (to me) upgrade. ;) First was putting in this board, taking out an old Slot A asus board.

Get a Sager 9860, and it won't cost you $6000, more like 3-4000. And you'll have the fastest DTR there is-all the rest is lagging behind.

Widescreen LCD monitors: why not to buy one

Also, in some games (I play 99% flightsims), you can go into the .config file, and set your resolution, for that game, manually. I.E., I have a laptop with 1680x1050, and Pacific Fighters doesn't natively support that res, but inputting that value into the .config file results in a "normal"...

I want the best gaming laptop available.

Here is the bestest, fastest beast you can get right now: Sager 9860 I have it with 3.6 Prescott and 1 Gig RAM, 3DMark03=7250+ Aquamark3=43000 Factory settings, it can be o/c'd quite a bit. Oh, much cheaper than AW, same notebook, or dtr.

Need some help finding a laptop with the right features

The fastest gaming notebook in the world right now is the Sager 9860 (which I have ;) ), do a google. It is awesome, and based on the Clevo 900 mobo with the Nvidia 6800 Go GPU. Stock, no tweaking at all: 3DMark03=7250 Aquamark3=43000 When o/c'd, those scores rise quite a bit...
