Actually decided on the 3570 instead of 2700K

For the same cost 3570K new at 235 cnd after tax or a used 2700K 1 mth old w receipt that I can get for $230 Board being used is a Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3, video editing casually and gsming will be primary use of the combo. For same price would one go with the 2700K

9800GTX+ installed

is the 9800 GTX+ SC overall a better /faster card than a 4850. I can buy a used 4850 for $150ca, I bought a new 9800 GTX+ SC evga yesterday for 4200 tax in, is it worth saving $50 I am playing at 1920x1200 relatively new games , don't have crysis and will not be bothering with it either

what y9u have stated is not correct AM2 supports DDR2 533/667 and 800. Second DDR667 is not 4200 but it is 5400 DDR2 667 will work fine on an AM2 board, good DDR2 667 can reach 800 clocks with the same timings as DDR800 of 5,5,5,12 in most cases when running quality ram
