A few years back, when routers still cost a bunch, my first SMC Barricade wireless router with print server was as solid as a rock. My pc downloads 24/7 and apparently that takes a toll on routers. It lasted almost exactly a year before it died. Repaced under warranty, that unit lasted almost...
I didn't like how they called it MuVo Squared. Cute name, but MuVo, in my book, is flash-based. And I can't argue that the Shuffle is better than it - I'm just going to say it is for different folks. My mom would like a dumber unit also. The closer an mp3 player is to the simplicity of an old...
I do agree that it is kind-of stupid to want a dumbed-down mp3 player. Over the last year, I have eagerly read about each new mp3 player release, especially those few that finally hit 512MB and then 1GB. I would weigh the pluses and minuses and all had problems of one sort or another, so I kept...
metalmania - I think you misunderstood. My current cd player, which plays mp3s, doesn't have resume. The ipod shuffle does.
CasmirRadon - I use the highest rated mAh Everyready batteries - the fact is, if my wife complains that it's always cutting out, I can't win no matter what battery brand...

I currently only listen to audiobooks mp3s. I have over a couple hundred cds with directory after directory of books, and use an old cd player with an almost worthless lcd display. Not only does it have problems when cold (has to be warm or I have to open it and reseat CD), but it does not...
I was too lazy to put an Afterburner on my son's GBA, and the GBA SP wasn't thrilling enough to get, so I planned on getting the Nintendo DS for my kid as a Christmas present. Pre-sales sold out of these fast everywhere, but I correctly guessed that when I headed out of the metro DC area for...
My 2001FP arrived a few days ago and I've been loading games after games on the computer for my kid. Without running anything to deliberately see if there are any bad pixels, I haven't seen anything amiss with this very nice monitor. I've looked hard at dark screens and everything is dark. I've...
I've had 3 different sets of BAs over the years. I've always liked the solidness to the product and cables that weren't thin and kinked. Sounded very nice as well. But, all gave up the ghost eventually. Not buying another. No reason these things should last longer.
Man, where were you negative dudes when this was first posted? Now I have to decide if I need to hunt down the rebate that disappeared from the amazon site AFAIK, or return the unopened package. :(
Added: Ah well, a few mores days gone by, a few more beers... Now it doesn't seem to matter...
ObiKwan - please supply detailed instructions on how you ordered 3 so that the rest of us can benefit, or please refrain from these non-informational posts.
:)

Well, it's a calendar poster (1 single sheet), $2.95 S&H, and I don't see any nude women on it. It's a nice find to those that need a wall decoration of pop art or whatever that is, but NOT hot.
