Yeah, but finding one is like a crap shoot. I ended up asking Asus and they recommended the HD5450... which is what we purchased.

Oh yeah? Hmm .. What we do is: Repair the display and make sure it works in both DVI and VGA over DVI-I. At times they may be used for watching videos, but no gaming at all.

Thanks for the insight folks. Since I really don't plan on watching and HD stuff on the computer, I went and picked up a 23" Apple Cinema display.

I saw that. Been reading up the reviews on that one, some are mixed. I've never actually purchased an LG LCD, plus I can't find any information of their website. If it wasn't for trying to future proof crap by making sure the panel is HDCP compliant, and not wanting to send 1100.00 for an LCD...

Thanks, but she contains a TN panel. Something I need to stay away from for photography reasons... Finding a good LCD is such a pain in the a##.

Easy to use External hard drive for backup?

Silent cooler for the 8800 GTS?

I'm just quoting what I could find, it was an Anandtech review that reports the levels. I'm going to live with it for now, but I do see a big difference.
