I/O Shield Tabs, what the hell do I do with these?

The I/O shield, that thing that the I/O ports poke through and which connects to the case -- it's got a bunch of metal tabs sticking connected to it. Do I bend those off? Do they serve a purpose? I can't figure it out. Yes, I'm a moron, please advise.

Does "core clock speed" matter on these 8800GTSes?

Any reason this PSU won't do 8800GTS SLI and C2D E6600?

Does "core clock speed" matter on these 8800GTSes?

Ok, this is confusing. So here are 3 8800GTS 640MB cards with the only diff I see being the clock speed. Can I just overclock the lower card to the higher card clock setting and save myself the money? What's the real difference between these, just the clock setting? Can't that be easily...

Thanks for the feedback guys. @cprince - good call on the additional fans, hadn't thought about that. @jpeyton - thanks for the input, what the Newegg wishlist won't show you (grr) is that they are offering a $30 off if you buy that psu + the vid card I'm getting, so it comes in closer...
