New gaming build, need comments/suggestions. please

I am thinking about a new build would like to know how this would be. Its going to be built by a company, so I dont have any other choice for a motherboard exept the one listed. Would also prefer to stay with windows xp over Vista, but would also like some thoughts on that too. Thanks in...

I have logitech z640s 5.1 I tryed lowering the wave volume, restarted pc and it did no good. Under "Advanced Audio Properties-Speaker Setup, it says Quadrophonic Speakers, and I have 5.1. I never noticed it saying quadrophonic before. I changed it to 5.1 and it keeps going back to...

Would the speaker configuartion have changed by itself you think? Its been fine and had the system for a year up untill now. I will check it and see though. Thanks.

I am getting a static type buzzing noise coming through my speakers whenever I move, or drag a window or click on something. I also get it when I drag the mouse pointer, and press keys on keyboard. But its louder when I click on difernt things. This has never happend befored, it just started all...

I wouldnt lend $100 to my own brother, let alone someone I never met. You may as well just say its a gift of $100 and not a loan, cause there is a 99% chance no matter who you lend money to, they never ever pay you back. :|

This Thermaltake Case

I love my black Tsunami! It will keep everything nice and cool. I agree its a little cramped, but dont let that stop you from getting it. Other than that, I get compliments on my tsunami all the time. Just clean the screen for the front fan often especialy if you live in a dusty rural area...

I noticed everything runs fine, exept for that. It doesnt happen constantly, just at certain points in the game. I have shadows enabled, and that anti aliasing whatever that is. The character will stop like i mentioned above, just for like a half a second if that, which isnt too bad really, I...

I also right clicked on the AVG icon on my lower right bar near the clock and clicked "Quit AVG control center", but it didnt fix the problem :(

I'll give it a try. Thanks Azzy! I sent you a message azzy. I forgot to ask how to get out of bios while I am in there. Just want to be safe. And would all I have to do is just erase whatever setting it is on, and enter 256? Then do I click "enter", or a special key? Thanks :)

Do you have the Evga 6800GT-256 also Genero? I am lost at rebooting into bios. How is that done? I wonder if it could also be the resoulution casing the lag? What do most you gamers run your games at? 800x640, or higher res. like 1024x768 etc? Think that will help?
