Staples changing its ink cartridge exchange program

Could part of it be that (crappy) 3rd party generic ink clogs print heads...and the Staples people finally have had it with the complaints? Just notice that Canon/Epson's mainly do not have print heads built into the cartridges but rather a much more sensitive, separate print head.

Password protecting an external HDD?

I just purchased a 200gb hard drive and a separate external enclosure. I was wondering if there is any way to password protect the HDD so that if someone were to plug the unit into their rig, they wouldn't be able to see the drive's contents.

Quick questions on memory for laptop

So I used CPU-Z to check the information...and the information matches what hmsrolst predicted. The FSB:DRAM ratio is 3:4. The FSB is 400mhz. The memory is at 533mhz. Please excuse my ignorance on memory but does this mean PC2700 memory will run at its fullest potential and not downclock...

I/O Magic = BENQ?

To my knowledge, I/O Magic re-badges peripherals from different manufacturers (like BENQ, NEC, etc.) The tricky part though is that I/O Magic also re-badges crappy stuff so it's almost like a gamble when you buy with that brand name.
