WD 250GB SATA-2 w/8MB $86.27; 250GB SATA-1 w/16MB $89.33 shipped. No rebates.

There's a 250 GB review @ StorageReview. The WD in the review is a different model SATA II with more cache. Man .. drives sure have come down in price lately!

Whoa! I'm $90 out of the hole. Took the advice of several last week and faxed my information in, even though it was listed as accepted on the web site. Got the checks today. One of these days I'd like to see some of the marketing plans behind these rebates. I wonder how much is factored...
