Internet access in Europe?

Hi there, my roommate will be travelling to Europe in a couple weeks. Right now he uses Verizon Broadband Access wireless internet, so he's essentially connected at all times. He's looking for something similar in Europe ... do any of you know of something similar, or that he could purchase...

Terminal Services on Windows 2003 Server

The server's video card has 64mb of RAM, and we'll only be having 4-6 simultaneous users. Right now there's no way to increase the quality above 8bit ... am I hoping for impossible? Any advice is highly appreciated! Ryan

Does she use a Security Program, like Norton Anti-Spam? Have you checked the machine for spyware?

Question about Highpoint RocketRAID 2320

The manufacturer's website, http://www.highpoint-tech.com/ states that this card is x8 and x16 compatable. Can anyone confirm this? An x4 slot is much smaller than an x16 ... Has anyone tried to put a 2320 into an x16 slot, and it's worked?

Windows 2000 Server issue

Thanks for the replies, fellas. Upon rebooting the machine (not easy to do since it's a production server) the problem has disappeared. Perhaps it was holding onto 'hung' connections(?) Peace

Trouble installing Windows Server 2003 w/ SP1

After much trial and error, I thought I had found the culprit. When I switched PCI video cards, I was able to successfully install and boot into Windows. However, other errors have occured that have lead me to believe it's not the video card ... but the motherbaord. And Asus A8N-E. I'm...

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I have since tried to install XP, and it also failed. So, since that point, I've tried using different memory, a different hard drive, using a RAID card instead of the motherboard's ports, and flashing the motherboard BIOS. All of this has not had an...
