s939 Single to X2 on MSI MB

Glad you got it sorted out. I did the same update but I have had great success with their live update feature. The upgrade will be well worth it. I put in an X2 to replace my 3200+ and have been very happy.

New Rig - Suggestions?

This is my first Intel build in a long time, so I'm still researching chipsets. However, why would I want to go with the 965p over the 975x (or 680i for SLI support and C2D). I realize that I may save some money if I go with the 965p. Is that the only reason? I'll definitely look into...

Computer crashes with 2GB ram

I have tried the "big fan" trick, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. My temperatures are usually 40c or lower througout the system. It's only when I have all four sticks in the system that it crashes. One other thing is that my USB keyboard isn't detected by the bios 3/4 of the...

I ran memtest on every combo... I even let the 4 stick combo run for 40 passes (while I was out of town). However, there were no errors found. Any other tips or suggestions?
