Hey, I've checked teh ASUS site for the quad core processors that the P5 supports, and the links ASUS provides just don't seem to provide the info... Does anyone know just what specific quad core CPU's this board, with 2004 bios, will support?

Those lists do not make any sense to me. If you need to replace the chip, best to call ASUS and ask for the BIOS department. See if they'll send it to you at no cost. In the meantime, try resetting the CMOS by moving the appropriate jumper. See if that helps at all. -phil Phil: Yes...

Phil: On the ASUS web update page, it shows the most recent bios verions as 1901. On the ASUS product ordering page, all of the updates begin with 10... and the most recent seems to be 1019. So the numbers do not match. Can you tell me if those bios' are the same? Tried to flash to...

Potential Photoshop CS2 users with Vista 64. Though the launch takes about the same time as it would in XP-Pro, the 'processing", for me, has been about 300% faster, e.g. 35 seconds to auto complete a full mask in Vista 64 in a hi-res photo, -vs- 1:30 in XP Pro. It's nice to see the memory...
