Thank you... looks like I need a dedicated PC to setup Sophos and am wondering if I would be better off just getting a business router like the Edgerouter.
We are a small startup and use a TP Link Router + Unifi AP for Wireless we had no access controls but noticed the bandwidth limits being hit really quickly and found some users ran torrents.
What can i do to to restrict P2P access and also have some kind of bandwidth cap?
Cheers
I am setting up a Windows Server 2012 Essentials system with an AMD 5350 + Asus AM1M
I just realized that the motherboard only comes with 2 SATA Ports and I need to hook up 4 Hard Drives.
Is there anyway to add more SATA ports to a system? What's the best way to do this.
Cheers
Thank you.. on second thoughts i am wondering if i should delink both htpc and NAS and get a separate player later on like the WD TV or Roku
Would you guys suggest i try and save on costs by getting the J1900?
I am upgrading from WHS and need a low power NAS setup to run WSE2012 on. Can you recommend a good CPU/Mobo combo? Might double up as HTPC so good movie playback is a plus no gaming at all so doesn't need to be the fastest.
It starts at 2:10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1v0uFms68U
I have gone through all the official soundtracks, wikia, youtube comments but can't seem to find the name anywhere.
Any help?
I am thinking of picking up a Unifi to replace my Buffalo Router which suffers from constant reboots. Do I also need to pick up a wired router to connect my desktop, printer etc which are all wired devices?
Sorry if it's a noob question
Well more than the price i am concerned about power usage with HTPC isn't there something better than the Raspberry Pi which is powerful enough to play 1080p and flexible enough to run XBMC or Plex? and yet around 10-15 watts of power usage?
