wanderer27, Thanks for your excellent explanation. I have abandoned AI Nos and have begun to make friends with nTUNE. I have succeeded in learning enough to push the system producing 20,880 in 3DMark2003.

Remote HDTV from PC

Thanks for those leads. I looked into those but it seems that none will stream HDTV in 1080i. I guess residential technology for HDTV and PC-HDTV needs to catch up.

PCI Express Bus Speed

Actually, 2500 PCIe Bus speed is normal in NTune. I Run mine at 2800 stable with (2) 6800GT's.

Remote HDTV from PC

Here is an interesting challenge. I have a PC in my office highly capable of running HD Video streams like HD DVD and WMVHD. In another room, I have a 50" Samsung DLP Monitor. Is there a way to "broadcast" or "output" the HDTV from the PC to the Samsung monitor in another room? I know KVM...

I answered my own question. The F3 at the end of the part number is only for a packaging change. The cards are identical so they will work in SLI together. :-)

My case too hot

I added an 80mm intake fan in the lower front edge of the side window. The case IDLES at about 76degF the processor idles 36C now!! During heavy games the case can get up to about 98F and the CPU gets to about 51C with a CPU fan speed of about 3000. I use the Asus Q-Fan that adjust fan speed...

Well, the case came with one 80mm and I added a second rear 80mm. Since the temp dropped by about 30 F with the side panel opened about 1/4" I figured that there is not enough air coming into the case....the case is under a vacuum; more air going out than can get in. I really like the look of...

A8N-SLI Deluxe Too many buttons!!!

OK I love this board and it actually has been rock steady and fast. As far as tuning is concerned, there seem to be too many ways to do it. I am not sure which method to use, one, two, four, or all methods. 1) We have old fashioned, fully manual direct BIOS tweaking. 2) AI overclocking...

My case too hot

Yeah it looks nearly impossible to stick a fan up behind the front bezel. Also the front bezel intake slots are real small. I think I'll cut a hole in the window low and forward for a 120mm fan and add a filter of some sort to it so I dont suck too much dust in. Anyone recommend a QUIET 120mm...

My case too hot
