Bottom line is?
Things are fine as long as someone else has done the same wrong things and hasn't been convicted!?
or
Most politicians are corrupt and even the ones who are not have to become corrupt because of the way the 'democratic' governong system in the western world works!?
The way things are with politicians and with the current state of 'democracy' (in the suposedly democratic countries) no wonder that the number of people who vote diminishes in every next election! Maybe in the long term that is actully great, hopefully at some stage say a 30% turnout may create...
I think they performa roughly the same, and the price seems to be very close. They even have the same Vi-Vout Philips Chipset. Bearing in mind the above, i know this may sound silly or whatever, but if i had the money, i'd love to get the Gainward if not for another reason just for its looks !!!!
Those who are getting 22000 or so in w98 and win me and about 15000 or so on w2k, you'll need the w2k patch for udma 100 ...

It depends with what you're comparing with. The YStech 26 cfm fan is much quiter than the Delta 38 cfm or the Papst 33 cfm. The noise ratings and other info are as follows :
Delta 38 cfm 46.5 dBA 60 x 25 3.8 W
Papst 33 cfm 43.0 dBA " 3.7 W
Adda 28 cfm 37.0 dBA...
From what i have read, the Abit VP6 should be the best option. Especially if you are thinking of using eide raid and overclocking. Then again, if you wait a bit you could get one of the new ddr dual boards.
There are a number of places where you can find socket cooler reviews, anandtech, www.overclockers.com, hardocp.com etc etc
If you don't mind the noise, then of course you can try the FOP38, although from what i have seen in various reviews its clip is one of the worst around. Another option...
Whether you increase the multiplier or the fsb, the voltage that usually requires tweaking is the vcore voltage. The vio voltage supplies the memory and the AGP. Both should increase stability, but vio is usually used in order to enhance the signal to the memory. I used to use 3.6V vio in order...
Intel is GREAT !!! AMD is GREAT !!!
And the best thing for the end user is that they both exist and are at each others throat ! So the prices are kept down.
Pitty that Matrox or ATI haven't managed the same with Ndivia, then graphics cards prices would be down as well !!!
I guess i'll have a look around and see if i can get an unlocked one. I'm quite concerned about the reports of locked cpu's trying to boot at the default multiplier than the bios seting.
I thought the same, although i have seen reports that some are and some are not. Was just trying to buy one and i send an e-mail with the question. The answer i got is that the L1 bridges were not connected.
