Solved. Dash that's part of the eye RX form before 'cylinder' is really a negative after all.
Hey. I just got a new eye prescription from a small kiosk OD in a big store. It's mostly pretty close to a couple old RXs that I dug up, except for the cylinder numbers apparently are now positive...
Hello. Did you ever find out what was really wrong with that Denon 1612 that was cycling off and on? I take it from the thread a couple years ago that you found a bad cap that was replaced but just failed again. Did you get any further?
I picked up one doing the same thing it seems. Turns on...
I have the same problem on my desktop. For all the people yapping about FF just using a lot of memory, read the first post again. It's the flash player (flashplayerplugin process(es)) that gets bigger and bigger. Often larger than the Firefox process at 500MB and sometimes a lot larger at...
Thank you both for your answers. I was reading the box a little more closely and I see it actually shows the office URL where you can DL the office trial from, to be activated by the Product Key Card, so I guess that's what I do have.
www.office.com/productkeycard
Consider this closed.
Well, I can't find any of those 3 letter descriptors on the outside of the box, and seems it would defeat the purpose of finding out if I can sell it as new if I have to open the box first. :) I'd bet money on it's not being OEM, as would they really bother to box up the Key Card in a box with...
Hello.
I have a couple question that I was hoping more experienced AT'ers could help me with.
When I got my new netbook a while back, it included a copy of MS Office 2010 Home/Student. This came in the form of a shrinkwrapped package with UPC code and says on the box: "Product Key...
Well that was fast. Thanks, that would explain it. Some people are always reluctant to get a whole new system if any decent upgrades are available. I remember a similar situation with the P4 3.06/533 northwoods (with hyperthreading!! (oooh!). I wanted one for a long while as the best...
Hello. I recently got a hold of an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+. I tried to check it's value on completed Ebay auctions only to run into something of a surprise. There seem to be two versions and they're widely different in value. Does anyone know, and willing to explain this to me, or point me in...
We have a big old UHF/VHF antenna installed in the attic of our 2 story, probably 5' by 3' in size. We'd never used it since moving in, until we finally upgraded to HD TVs. I figured it couldn't hurt to try and sure enough, it gives great reception for the D-OTA channels.
Hello. I spent some time trying to figure where to post this and finally decided on OS's, for the drivers angle.
I just bought a HP P3005 laser printer. Instead of just one driver per OS like I'm used to with cheaper printers, this beast comes with 6 variants and I don't know what's what...
How about providing just a little more info about your setup?
Also, that 'solution' has very little if anything with setting up a normal shared printer. Maybe you are running the remote desktop & terminal services for whatever reason it does have more to do with your situation, but still...
