I also went from a 360 to a ps3 like you. I really liked the 360, but I after dealing with 2 RRODs, I just sold the refurb 360 MS sent me and got a ps3.
1) I find them really annoying also, I was so used to just downloading a demo and playing right away on the 360. But the install feature...
I want my application to be able detect when a file has been modified.
My initial idea is to store the file's timestamp in a variable, and when I reopen the file, check to see if the new timestamp is different. The problem I'm running into is that I dont know how to get a file's timestamp...
I want to RMA a Hitachi hard drive that died, and on the Hitachi website it has very strict guidelines on how to package the hard drive:
Use thick foam rubber to secure the hard drive on all sides during shipment or use a GeoSprings kit (a specially-approved box with plastic spacers). When...
Gamecube's support 480p max, so you'll get no benefit from that monitor. Actually, the graphics will probably look worse because the monitor will have to scale the gamecube's 480p graphics to the native resolution of that lcd.
I would recommend the 37" for computer use. I've seen the 37" Westinghouse at a friend's house, and I had no problem using it from 2-3 feet away. I think 42" is way too big, 37" is huge for a pc monitor. Put the extra money you save from picking the smaller LCD into a good video card.
I'm developing an application for a PDA, and I'm trying to compile it and run it on my device. I can get my program to run on the pocket pc emulator, but whenever I try to compile it, it combiles it as an X86 executable, so I cant run the program on my PDA. In the configuration Manager, in the...
I recently bought a axim x3 from geeks.com and I'm having trouble getting the pda to turn on without having the AC power connected.
When the power is connected and I look in the battery properties, in the main battery section it says "no battery," even though I do have the battery in the pda...
The aria has very poor cooling so its not a good idea if you want a game sff pc. But as a media center it would be ok, just make sure u use parts that don't get very hot.
i was gonna say exactly what he said. get the logitech Cordless Rumblepad II, its great. Better value than the xbox 360 pc controller cause its wireless and cheaper.
get a vga adapter for the xbox. Will look much better than composite because you can use 480p for all your games and 720p and 1080i on ones that support it.
Get the vdigi adapter
This will work with your xbox and anything that uses component output (ps2, gc, xb360, dvd player)
