The Ukrainians are speculating that this is just a PR stunt, under the premise of moving their office and closing down the old one. Additionally they found some job offers from GSC from December the 5th

New gtx 580, drivers won't initialize

So I'm putting together a new system, but seeing as I'm still waiting for my 2500k to arrive I went ahead and put the gtx 580 in my old system, as my 280 was toast. Everything seems to be fine, except for the fact that the nvidia drivers don't seem to initialize, giving an Error 37 Windows...

I Don't get all the love for Mass Effect 2

I've been saying this repeatedly, but I'll say it again. I think ME2 is leaps and bounds beyond the stale, generic muck that ME1 turned out to be. Those of you criticizing the removal of the original's so called RPG elements should take a good hard look at what those "elements" actually...

Rainbow pixels = EOL?

I had the same exact problem with my gtx 280. Since it was a bfg card rma wasn't an option. Supposedly the solders crack after a while, the only possible fix is to bake the card. It actually worked for me, so who knows. Here's the thread with a tutorial...

Graphics card died, what to do?

Alright, I'm going to cook it as soon as I get hold of a back up card. If that fails I guess upgrade time came early.

I'm leaning towards that option, but as I wrote; it seems more like an end in itself. It would be nice to have a new pc, but what games would actually benefit from it?

It just seems to me that I'm bound to upgrade in a year or two, and then the card would not be up to speed, especially if it was just a replacement. Also, wouldn't something along the likes of a 560/580 be bottlenecked in my system?

Well like the title says, my gtx 280 has been stricken with the pink screen of death, rendering it useless. Although I'll still try to stick it in the oven as a last resort, I highly doubt that will achieve anything. My rig is gtx 280, intel e8400, 4 gigs of RAM and a 22" monitor...
