help! video display issue

switching video cards won't make the system any less likely to work. you can use an nvidia card with an amd processor, it is fully supported.

My $2k build, don't let me mess this up!

OP: You could also backup to online service if you don't mind your data being held by a 3rd party. Also you should only need to backup documents and the like, not entire programs, so the amount of space you use is relatively small.

Hard Drive Has Gone Musical

So, one of my hard drives at work has turned musical. I tried powering up this embedded system that has a sata hd connected to it; the whole system worked fine a week ago. I immediately hear this "boo duh dee boo duh dee boo duh dee" 3 tone musical arpeggio (minor third and perfect fourth) start...
