AHCI with Vista 64 bit?

Do you get the AHCI BIOS prompt at boot?

AHCI with Vista 64 bit?

Does anybody have Vista 64 installed on a MB with the AHCI enabled in BIOS and in native mode? I had a lot of trouble and had to re-install Vista several times. Did you guys have success with AHCI on a 965 chipset? Thanks!

Can you use a RAID controller as dual IDE channel?

Thanx, but the controller on A7V133 isn't RAID.

AMR / CNR devices?

Does anybody know where can you get or at least see any AMR or CNR modems, NICs or anything? Just wondering how can these godforsaken slots be used.

Can you use a RAID controller as dual IDE channel?

Can you connect a HDD and a CD-ROM to a Promise RAID contoller and have them function as master and slave? I'm looking at the MSI K7T Turbo-R but I don't need the RAID, I just need to hook up my 4 IDE devices to separate channels.

Microsoft XP.... I think its time to start looking towards Linux...

MGMorden - I know it's open-source, but unless somebody owns it who will be responsible for the final product? Who's going to provide support? heh.. And who will be the "Chief Software Architect" ? ;)

150,00$ Kyro II beats Geforce2 Ultra!!!

Kyro 2 rocks! This is FINALLY a real value: all the power with no overhyped and overpriced crap! Yee-haa! Well I won't be getting one since I just got a V5500. It gives me FSAA in ANY 3D game (Kyro's only works in OGL for now). But I still like it a LOT!

Sound Blaster Live II (Audigy) = fascist anti-consumer product?

. I have yet to see something that cannot be copied on a computer... SuperCD or DVD-Audio didn't prove their viability so far. If a DVD-Audio disk can be played on a regular DVD-ROM drive, it can be copied. There's region-free firmware versions for DVD-ROM drives, I don't see a reason not to...
