how reliable are the maxtor drives?
i am considering getting a new hdd and it comes down to this...
the WD is slightly cheaper by a few dollars but has 1yr warranty vs 3yr
how reliable are maxtor?? ive heard these clicking problems with WD..
i am leaning towards maxtor due to its quietness...
the hitachi is 200 USD cheaper than samsung........ is it worth to get samsung? am i going to be dissappointed in playing games with samsung? or whats this about colour problem with hitachi? can anyone describe it? they say something about dark and bright shades? what does that mean?

also i read the review on anand with hitachi cml174 its actually loads cheap than 172T
what do you people think about the hitachi wrt to colour and visual quality/sharpness of texts etc
anyone had comparison between viewsonic and samsung? they seem preetty good choices.. viewsonic vx700 is quite cheap comapred to samsung 172T
infact viewsonic VX800 is the same if not similar to samsung 172T
any ideas?
