DVI Problems

Basically I'm not getting any DVI input. It's kind of a two-fold problem, since I know this viewsonic has DVI issues (fixed it in the past, don't remember how, think it has something to do with plugging in both VGA and DVI, then unplugging monitor for five seconds, taking out VGA, turning back...

Catalyst 7.3 (XP/2K) with Control Panel available now.

For what it's worth, I'm having an incredible amount of problems with my new computer (e6300, ds3 3.3, x1900gt) running 7.3 CCC and dispaly drivers. I'm probably going to uninstall it and run 7.2 instead. Is ATI's uninstaller reliable or do I need to be tricky about removing them?

Thanks bruce, I'm thinking it's the Video Driver. Very annoying Update: I had the latest driver already. Uninstalled it. Monitor booted up, but at weird resolution (said 1600x1050 but it clearly wasn't because there was extra resolution on my 20 inch WS), redownloaded/installed newest...

So i'm overclocking my new e6300 rig, and i'm tinkering with various timings and start getting getting a user32.dll error on startup. I google it, see it isn't supposedly overclocking related, and try to get a solid orthos result before trying to deal with OS issues. Now I'm trying to boot my...

Did my bios update just screw me over?

I overclocked my new e6300 build to a little over 3 ghz with 4-4-4-10 timings. Decided to update bios and see if I could push it a little more. Started getting weird graphical errors, attributed it to the BIOS overclocking the PCI-E port, tried to go into BIOS to fix the speed at 100 mhz, but...

P182 officially in stock at newegg, 169.99

Here Pre-cut holes in mobo tray for wire management, fan controller on back, water cooling holes. Decent upgrade, (unless you're really OCD about cables or <3 watercooling, then big upgrade) from p180, but i'd wait for rebates or take a gamble on the p182 being shipped in a p180 cardboard box...

White screen of death?

Well, I got my allendale e6300 up to around 2.9 ghz, tested it in orthos for about 45 minutes to an hour, no errors. Bump up FSB to an ambitious 455, doesn't boot. Okay, lower it to 450, now I just get a white screen, can't access bios. DS3, 3.3, Firestix pc2-1000. Heeeelp? Edit: problem...

So my AC Freezer 7 overhangs the stock northbridge cooler on my DS3 mobo, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations besides rigging up a 40mm fan on top of the NB. Thanks, Alex
