`Fujifilm rebatses arre very much hit-or-miss. Last year, they sent every rebate in a timely manner. Early this year, I couldn't get them to pay me. Since I only buy Fujifilm CDRs anyway, I kept buying them.
A while back, I decided to send in repate paperwork as described on the reciepts...
I am running it right now at 133mhz FSB in dual mode. Very stable at 266DDR, but I can't test it higher. When I installed the dimm, my northbridge got fried, but I think that's just because my PC was still plugged in.
It has a heatspreader and the packaging says that it has a lifetime warranty.
When sending in Fujifilm rebates, always follow the instructions on the rebate form. Never choose to register the rebates through myrewards.info , because that always ruins it for some reason.
I bought one of these. They changed to a ZyTel chipset. Latest Windows drivers are on the CD, even newer than on the website. For non-windows drivers, you are out of luck.
I just got the rebate check for the PCMCIA one from a few months back. You won't get ripped.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to send int he rebate? last time they never sent any checks, and this time I only see them printing one. I sent all 3 of them int he same envelope using the istructions from myrewards.info. Should I copy and fill out 3 rebate reciepts next time?
The 30-packs of Fujifilm appear to be the last Taiyo Yuden CDs that you can get in a spindle (both the 50 and 100-packs are taiwanese). It's really too bad that there is a limit of 1 per customer, because I would probably buy as many as I could carry.
If you buy that new USB nic, make sure that they put it on a separate reciept - or make a separate purchase if you're ordering online. That product has a separate form and address, and they reject all rebates that have a reciept number that was already used.
And while you're at it, if you get...
This could be the twin of the AVR1403, which also has a 24bit DAC; a Cirrus/Crystal instead of a Melody 32-bit chip. I don't know how Melody compares, but Crystal has always been great in my PC. But on the other hand, it has 80watts per channel and an optical output like the 1603. Maybe it is...
I accidentally noticed the "proof of purchase" labels that are ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CAPACITY LABEL and cut them out. I am absolutely frustrated about this because I had to piece together the capacity label and now it looks completely screwed up.
Are they going to reject this? That thing is...
I just got the 100disc spindle, only to find out that mine were MADE IN TAIWAN by CMC MAGNETICS, even though they were "Datalife Plus". Better check the label before you buy.
