Question Storage/memory Prices going up?

I saw the articles alluding to price increases, including from GamerNexus on YT. I did not expect such a quick increase in pricing. I figured we'd see prices creep up starting somewhere between February and March, but nope, they jumped up immediately after New Years. This puts my build plans...

Question Storage/memory Prices going up?

Is it me, or has memory prices on SSDs and NVMe drives jumped up a noticeable amount since New Years? Examples: Inland's 1TB NVMe was around $99-$109, now it is $140. Samsung's 1TB EVO was around $149-$160, now it is $170. Anyone else notice this?

intel 9450 vs AMD 9850

I just want to build an inexpensive beast with tons of ram, ATI HD 4870, and a quick quad-core processor. Maybe by summer's end, the 16GB DDR2-800 kit from G.Skill will drop in price. :D

intel 9450 vs AMD 9850

HP Pavilion Elite d5000t - any opinions?

I would likely do a clean install, or ask them at the time of purchase to install only the OS, drivers, and DVD software. I don't want anything else on it.

1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT uses which memory?

What memory does the 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT video card use? Is it GDDR2 or GDDR3? I've seen several video card in the past go with slower memory when the amount of memory is doubled on them. Thoughts? Also, is this video card supposed to be quicker than the 8800GT, or it just a...

Spotted on sale: 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT as an option on the HP d5000t and d5000z desktop systems

So it's basically a rebadged 8800GT w/ 1GB of memory and a slightly tweaked speeds? I wonder if it's using 1GB of GDDR3 or they went with slower GDDR2 memory.
