Any safety issues with using a previously owned computer

I personally would keep a camera monitoring that used computer at all times to be on the safe side.

Core i7 wake up call: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T BE overclocked to 6.29GHz!!

I think I might consider going the AMD route for my upcoming new build if these 6 core thuban CPUs turn out to be great.

What INTEL CPU do you currently use? Post here!

I'm using an Intel Xeon X3210 Quad CPU...I bought it off of ebay for $110 awhile back and I absolutely love it, currently have it at 3.5GHz but it can go up to 3.7GHz.

Any word on SimCity 5?

I would absolutely love an updated Sim Tower! That game was so addictive and I played the hell out of it back in the day...now I can barely get it to work on Windows 7 64-Bit :(

Metro 2033......Spoilers Inside.

Are Sound Cards worth it?

I have an HT Omega Striker 7.1 and it sounds much better then my onboard sound, I love it and you can get it for only about $80 on newegg

Intel Xeon X3210 2.13GHz Quad (G0 Stepping) @ 3.5GHz 1.475v. I Absolutely love this CPU...I got it for only $100 on EBay back in the day and it is a monster when I play games and watch movies...very happy with it.

Pentium MMX 200 - Any use?

I would say use it as a firewall, router, or server by putting some flavor of linux or bsd on it. I recommend you try Debian, Arch Linux, or OpenBSD (if you're going for a secure server).

SC2 and D3: What is Blizzard doing?

I can't wait for Starcraft 2 and I'm anxiously awaiting it's release. I don't really care how long Blizzard takes in it's development as I'm sure it will live up to it's hype and I have many other games to play while I wait for it's release. Blizzard has never disappointed me with their games...
