Were you regently updated your BIOS? if you were then that is your problem. Some reason the 1707 version block out the manual setting for overclocking.
Reflash your BIOS with the file from CD comes with the motherboard, you should get the version 0801. It will works fine for you...
There are two things:
Maybe you put too much thermal paste, use Artic Silver 5 this is a good one. Just put a thin layer.
Maybe your voltage are too high for you current setting.
1.39Vcore is under voltage at 400Mhz. Try it from 1.425 - 1.4725V and ofcourse do stablize test.
Maybe your MB can handle that high of FSB? or MEM ? What's the FSB:MEM? If it's at 1:1 try to slow it down at 4:3.....Good Luck
That why you do stablize test, such as Orthos or Prime95, if it's under voltage then it will fail and if too much voltage then it will be over heat.
Here is another tip to keep your CPU temp low. Since your MB's temp are low you can increase the FSB voltage up a bit and low down the CPU...
