No lights at all? Sounds PSU related to me. You have access to another one you can try in that box, or possibly a PSU tester?

Most expensive toy of yours?

Probably my 52inch Sharp Aquos LCD. Either that or my Xbox360/Games/42inch Sharp LCD setup I use for gaming. I don't do much PC gaming so my PC rig isn't too expensive. I have a decent gun/hunting collection as well.

Nope, I roll with the AC on this time of year. Sometimes on a Fall day I will, just because I like to be borderline cold all the time.

I think everyone feels a little bit like that every now and then. But good jobs are hard to find, so if you are compensated well for what you do, I would stick it out for awhile and see if you don't just change your mind. But like others have said, you are young, if you do decide your are...
