Need 80mm fan for AX-7, quiet w/ good flow

I'm not sure if it will be "quiet enough" or have "good enough flow," but: Panaflo M1A 80mm - 32CFM @ 28dBa Panaflo H1A 80mm - 39.6CFM @ 32dBa You may need something with bigger "oomph," but this might give you somewhere to start. dK9

Agreed... Oh, and a quick, exceptionally stupid question due to the fact that I actually OWN the AX-7.. Will the AX-7 fit on any mobo? or are there certain ones it won't fit? I only ask this because I may be upgrading my processor soon and I'd need a new motherboard, too :\ I sure feel dumb :[ dK9

Compressed gas sprays :D I assume you mean cleaning out dust, of course, rather than, say, that PB&J sandwich you dropped in there 3 months ago. Tetrafluoroethane is pretty popular for this kind of spray. Look for something that says "Compressed Gas Duster" or something similar and make sure...

Recommend a quet cpu cooler for p4

You might look into the Thermalright AX-478, the same design as the already-popular AX-7, but made for a P4.. Slap on a panaflo 80mm L1A and you should be set. dK9

is this a good case?

Hmm.. Sounds like a no-name power supply to me. You may want to consider purchasing a case without a PSU and buying a reliable one to put in it (like Antec [I've heard good things about the TruePower series] or Enermax [Whisper series perhaps?]). Although the brand-name PSU will cost a bit more...

Same old volume issues...

Hm..I believe I can outfit my puter with 2 case 80mm panaflos and an AX-7 with a panaflo for my cpu for.... $45..... I suppose I'm willing to pay the price, but I just want to make sure people think this WILL reduce the loudness in my case before wasting a nice sum like that Are we go for...

Same old volume issues...

I in fact bought a new case because my previous case's side panel vibrated horribly. I know have a case with a side fan intake and a rear exhaust fan. They don't vibrate much anymore (they make a nice solid connection and all) but are a bit loud, and have planned to replace them with panaflos...
