so quadro/firepro are completely different cards than say a gtx 680 or a hd7970?

i dont really understand the whole driver issue...dont they come with a disc that you put in the machine and install the driver?

so what your saying is that the quadro cards will beat the gaming cards doing 3d cad work? i have a 6850 in my computer at home and run solidworks there seamlessly...i have a quadro fx380 in my computer at work and it jumps, skips, and lags. would this be more of a cpu/ram issue then or would...

i figuerd the 3930 would be faster...the salespeople from the computer store are trying to sell our purchasing department on the fact that the xeon is more stable and blah blah blah....i can find no information anywhere taht states a xeon processor is better than an i7 3930
