Abit AX8 Motherboard, Its nice.

i use the optical out to my SHERWOOD RVD 6095 amp and it sounds great. Its not really onboard then since its a digital connetion with no interferance. if you read up you will find why i didnt like the NF4. I have no complaints with this board

i have tested about 6 winnys so far and they all far into the 2.5-2.7 catagory even with 1.75 volts, bear in mind those monster 2.8's are probably water cooled, or extreme air cooling and a really good chip certinally i have not hit 2.8 with 1.75 volts, 3500+ and straping on the dual delta...

pity their is no KT890 based SLI boards, but be aware that even the dfi board make give you issues, just of a different kind, its bios may not like your memory i hope it works out.

My abit AX8 KT890 based board is cheap and goes to 1.75. Its not marketed as an overclocker board, its brother the AN8 is. Still it gives me more settings than premium NF4 boards like the ASUS one you mentioned. Its common knowlege that winny cpu's need 1,6 volts to get the most out of...

How does your setup bench at 10x266 compared to your past NF3? Almost identical, subjectively faster due to better drivers for RAID/CHIPSET. If you wanted absolute stability id run 10 X 264, still out benches the FX-55 at default and is pleny fast enough and allowed 1.55 volts instead of...

Ok tested this out and i found my board to choke at 5X 236Mhz. i mean it wont post at all. 5X 234 seems stable, but slower than the rest of modes testedt for my winny 3500 it dosn't produce a really clock speed . However it might be a choice for a really high multiplier chip e.g the 4000+...

CPU-Z 1GB PN- OCZ5501024PFDC-K is what i have. OCZ DDR PC-4400 / 550MHz / Performance Series /Dual Channel. I don't know is its TCCD based maybe someone knows? My CPUs stable limit is approx 2670 at 1.6 volts, however better cooling/more volts may give more, but in each mode i tested...
