Normal temps for a GTX 570 (pre-OCed)

I have the EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked (797Mhz clock), and it reaches 70-71c while playing BF3 for a while. Since the weather has gotten cooler, it's even less. High 60s. I did tweak my fan profile a bit, it runs at 75 percent of it's max speed during play. Hope this helps. Side tip, check your...

GTX 570/580 Power Requirements.

Hi Guys, I just read that very informative 12V rail FAQ sticky at the top, and I'm still not a 100% clear. I have a OCZ 550w, which is advertised to have two 12V rails at 25 AMPS each. Does that mean I meet the required minimum 38/42 AMP required on the 12V rail for a single GTX570 or 580...

Rage...

The GPU transcode option seemed to help things a bit for me. It really is a nice looking game. Despite it clearly being a console game.

I wish I had not had so many vodka sodas last night and plopped $60 on this pile. What a disappointment. The ARS review is really spot on. Skip this one guys. Bummer PS. I can confirm the texture pop-in is atrocious on the PC, and they all look quite "consoleized" for lack of a better word.

Hey all, I'm willing to pay someone, via paypal if they can help me get ssh port forwarding to work on a Linksys WRT54GL running DD-WRT. I'd like the ssh tunnels to come up automatically and stay up. Does $30 sound good?

I just installed a GTX 460 and now my CPU is constantly being taxed!

Looks like the Smart6 or EasyTune Gigabyte software did not know what to do with the new video card. I removed those and the cpu taxing is gone now. Thanks for the input

I just installed a GTX 460 and now my CPU is constantly being taxed!

I have no idea what is going on. Taskmanager just says 40-50% of all 4 of my cores are being used and the process with the most activity is "svchost.exe" Any ideas? All I did was uninstall my old Nvidia 9500 GT and install this new GTX 460 with the new drivers! HALP!

My pre-order stands after playing the demo. The controls are definitely not like COD4, (which I'm use to) but I'll do my best to adapt. I think their 30hz refresh has something to do with it, at least partially. COD4 was 60hz man, I haven't posted on anandtech in a while...
