5770 Power Requirements

I checked on google, all I could find is they recommend a minimum of 450W. Does anyone know the current required on the 12V rails? I really want to used this with a 300W TFX PSU and it only has 21A on the 12V rails. I would be pairing it with a Q9550S (65W TDP). Thanks

Help with my i7 overlock please!

When i go into the bios, it is showing channel C with no timings and the bios only reports 4GB of ram. It isn't a stupid a question.

Thanks thorny I will try those settings late tonight.. 1.66V is giving me 1.65 real so it is ok. I will tighten the voltage after i get the cpu working.

intel x25-m kingston SSD question

Hello everyone, I currently have an x25-m and i was wondering if i could raid it with a kingston ssd. I know the kingston SSD is a rebadged intel one, but is there any difference in the drive bios? Does the kingston SSD show up as an intel x25-m in the system bios? Thanks!

Computer keeps restarting

naaa no messages. I managed to find a place where other people are experiencing the same problem with running memory at ddr3-1600 with the x58. Such a pain in the ass. Hopefully newer bioses will fix the issue.

I reinstalled vista and no changes. It never reboots when i am using it, just when it is idle and not doing anything. I am going to run some memtests, other than that perhaps i have a defective board. Anyone have any other ideas?

Computer keeps restarting

No overclocking is being done. The temps are stable around ~40deg. There is little to no CPU usage on this machine when it is rebooting. I tried updating my ich10R drivers. Hopefully that did something. I am also doing a virus scan to make sure. If it doesn't get better than i will try...
