    Tried a hub, no change. Grabbed a spare hard drive, fresh install of W10, devices working. I may just go that route soon.

    Looked at some 970s on NewEgg tonight and I see coil whine mentioned left and right. My setup is for audio, with a side of gaming, and I hate noises like that. Fans are fine, so long as they're quiet during normal operation. 1080P gaming, rig in sig. Any suggestions?

    Four days and no replies? Really? Are they burned CDs or factory pressed? How about trying Foobar2000? I don't play CDs these days, I rip them to FLAC first using Exact Audio Copy. There are guides out there for setting the software up. It's a pain the first time, but very easy after that.
