I'm always so hopeful when I make a change, but the HD switch didn't fix the freezing problem. Tbh, the game runs pretty good for me except for the freezing.

Ahh, that is great feedback. I have updated the OP to reflect my actual OS HD to be the Samsung 850 EVO SSD. This drive has plenty of space for the game, so I will try swapping it over and will report back. Also, do you think upgrading my GPU would be worthwhile considering the old i5 2500k? I...

This /only/ happens while playing in-game. Currently I am playing Assassin's Creed Origins. Basically load it up and between every 30 seconds to 1 minute the game will freeze for ~3-5 seconds. I ran memtest86 and found a stick of ram to be bad. Removed this and the freezing persists. I then took...

PC turns on, but stuck before BIOS after power outage

Ok, secondary HDD is plugged back in and it booted up no problem. Btw, before I changed anything, I tried booting my PC and got stuck at the same pre-BIOS screen with the message "Version 2.02.1205. Copyright (C) 2010 American Megatrends, Inc." o_o
